Deutz diesel 25 KVA
Concept:
With the variable speed technology the whole power range of the engine could be used for a
higher efficiency between 0 and 100% power. Additional are the dimensions much smaller than a
conventional genset.
Principle:
The engine with its variable speed runs a permanent magnet alternator. The alternator supplies the Power Electronic Converter with a variable frequency and a 3 phase current.
The Power Electronic Converter changes the 3 phase current by a DC-Inverter and a PWM-Inverter to a fix, adjustable frequency and voltage.
The integrated controller makes the setting of the engine speed, which depends on the demanded power.
Advantage:
• Smaller lower cost engine
• Reduced engine exhaust emissions at light loads
• Reduced engine noise at light loads.
• Reduced engine maintenance at light loads.
• Increased fuel economy at light loads
• Increased engine life at light loads.
• Lower cost of owner ship
• Improved 3 phase unbalanced voltage regulation
• Improved dynamic response time
• Low output impedance
• Regeneration ability
Features Tested by German Army:
• Conditions: -32°C - +49°C; up to 2000 m, without power reduchtion
• Shock and vibration up to 4g
• EMC tested
• NEMP tested
• Easy maintenance
